Rating Scores Explained

Hygiene
Hygienic handling of food during all stages, including preparation, cooking, re-heating, cooling and storage.
A low score of 0 is Very Good. A high score of 25 means major improvement is necessary.

Structural
The cleanliness and condition of the facilities and building - including the layout, hand washing facilities, ventilation and pest control.
A low score of 0 is Very Good. A high score of 25 means major improvement is necessary.

Confidence In Management
Ensures that systems or checks are in place to safeguard that food served is safe to eat. This shows whether staff know about food safety, and that the food safety officer has confidence that standards can and will be maintained in future.
A low score of 0 is Very Good. A high score of 30 means major improvement is necessary.
